TEETH OF LAMB   HEAVY SPEED METAL FROM GERMANY Band Questions answer by WOLF J
Please introduce yourself and the band members briefly?   Hey, I am WolfJ., frontman and guitarplayer from the band Teeth Of Lamb, Mr Claus Mc Hegan´s playing the drums, Piepsi Panic the bass guitar. Mr. Pete Glesga is my sideman on the second guitar.    What does the band name mean and how do you get it? Even when you are obviously the weak one, stand to your opinions   Where and how was the band founded? The band was not founded like it maybe usually is like: hey, I play guitar you´re playing drums, let´s launch a band. I´d prefer to say it developed to be a band. Cause in the first it was a project of me and our drummer Clause. We both played in different bands that time but wanted do record some cool stuff together.   Have you played in other bands before? Yes. I am foundation member of Striker (GER) and have played the guitar for really long time at that band. But at Striker (GER) I did only play the guitar.   Now I´m singer, too.   Was it hard to find suitable band members who fit musically and humanely with the band? Holy shit, yes, it was. Although I´ve known lots of musicians for a long time it was fuckin´ hard work to find guys that like that kind of stuff and also can bring in enough time and skills into the band   What does the band name mean? Even if it seems that you are obviously the weak one: stand tall and bite. Stand by your conviction! That´s what Teeth Of Lamb means.   What are the lyrics about and who of you is writing them ? Everything can be a theme for a song. You only have to open your eyes and have a look around you.   I write all the lyrics by myself and most I´m writing about injustice, bad habits, behavior of man concerning fellow human beings   Which bands inspired you and how would you describe your music to someone who has never heard a sound from you? Early Metallica and Helloween´s Walls Of Jericho as well as all those shredders from the 80 th   like Yngwie or Paul Gilbert had really influenced my kind of music. But also thrash like the latest Kreator or melodic death celebrated by some nordic bands play a major role in the sound of Teeth Of Lamb. Mr. Trummer   from Deaf Forever Mag wrote that T.O.L. sounds like a mix between Sodom and   Bodom. That might be an appropriate description for our sound.   Why should people listen to our music? Because it´s great to listen to it. ( hahaha). Come to our show. mosh that fuckin´ pit. Hell yes. there`s no better way to brake your neck.    Teeth of Lamb your debut ep is from the beginning of 2018. How long have you been working on the production and the songs? There was already a two-track-demo in 2017 with Termination World and Godawfull Bumfucker on it. We recorded those two songs again and also did two more songs. So the production of the EP didn’t really take a long period.   Do you have a favorite song on the ep and why the song? My favorite song is definitively Godawful Bumfucker cause it´s a very private one.   The cover artwork looks cool, who is responsible for it? Oh, thank you. That was really great collaboration between me and a very talented lady from Berlin who is an airbrusher. I made a pencil drawing and then I found some of her pics in www. I wrote her if she could imagine to create a cover artwork from my blueprint. She said Yes. And here it is.    Are you already working on new songs and what is the plan for the next release? Yes. We wrote a lot of new songs an we´ll record them in 2019. The plan is to release a full length in 2019   What was your first concert as a fan? And what memory do you have of it? Haha. That   was Monsters Of Rock with Scorpions and Ozzy headlining. I was there with my cousin, all alone with no parents and we were just 15 years old. Absolutely impossible nowadays.   What were your live highlights and with which bands did you play? Oh. There were so many cool shows while that long time I am on stage now. One of the most   scaring shows was in the 90th in Czech Republic with Boron. But also Festival shows with Testament and Annihilator were really amazing. I love those small club gigs like Regensburg Mälze.   Have already resulted in friendship ? With the "big bands" not really. But , yes, with lots of those guys from the bands I played together I am in close contact.   Which band would you like to play live with and why? Evil Invaders. Those guys are awesome, a tough working band and we are friends.   With what do you earn your money except with the music? Every single cent we earn with our music we reinvest in the band. So we have to work hard every day besides the work in the band. I am electronics technician at a hospital.   How important are social media for you as a band? Socicial media became really important the last years. there is no way without it . It´s easy to contact all those people that might be interested in your stuff. But all the others are doing the same. So there´s no benefit in numbers   What would you (her) want to achieve with the band? To be the king of the universe ( hahahha)   What do you think about the Germany Metal scene in general? The scene grew the last years. It´s cool to see that young people come along with metal. And look like we did long terms ago.   Maybe you can recommend some bands from your area? The Bavarian Metal Scene is the best. There are so cool bands nearby. I cannot point on one ore two. Just listen to them.   PERSONAL QUESTIONS !   Where did you grow up and how was your childhood? I grew up near by Amberg/Opf. in plain situation   How was your school time you were rather the good student or the break clown ?   I was a good student. Until I played in a band.   How did your parents react when you started making metal music? did they support you and how do you feel about your music today? I remember one day, or let´s better say one night, when a friend of mine and me started jaming in my room. I was 16 and it was 2.00. The only thing my father said was, that it now would be not the right time to practice scorpions riffs. Later our practice room was in the house of my parents. For long years.   Would you be successful in making music as a musician? If you mean as a Musician that plays everything only for the money? No. Not at all   Are you someone who loves the hustle and bustle of the big city? or rather looking for peace and relaxation in nature? I love to be in the forest near by my house.   Do you actively practice sports or are you more of a passive spectator? Bikebergsteigen. That´s what I do when I´m not on stage. And I´m doing it all on my own.   When it comes to your physical well you can cook or let you cook for you ? I love to cook, but I haven´t got as much time for it as I´d wish to.   What does your environment tell you about your passion for metal (friends / family / colleagues) ? My dear friends are metalheads like me and my family cannot imagine that there would be any other thing in my life than metal music. I don´t care ´bout what my colleagues expect from me.   How do you see the problem with the haters on the internet who have to announce their mental garbage in anonymity always and everywhere? Just ignore them. That´s all I can say   Which question would you like to have answered and why? What´s outside the univers. Cause we´ll never know.   Germany Bureaucracy   Austria The Alps   The Club Piratenhöhle   Albrecht Dürer Nürnberg   Nuremberg Christmas Market terrible   Nuremberg gingerbread Tastes great bevore christmas   Nuremberg sausages Too small   Movie or Series Lord Of The Rings   Family Familiy is nothing bloodbound   The closing word is yours? I would like to say thank you to all our fans and supporters out there. Wish
